Francis E. Winn, age 81, of Salem, died Saturday, July 30, 2016 in Alliance Community Hospital. He was born March 14, 1935 in Ridgeway, MO to George and Cora Faye (Johnson) Winn. He was a truck driver for over 30 years. He loved music, played guitar and sang for many local events over the years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Deanna Mae (Nunamaker) Winn, who died in 1995; daughter-in-law, Cathy (Knowles) Winn in 2015; 2 brothers, Carroll and Donald Winn.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Lettie (Joe) Davis of Kensington, Gina (Mike) Ward of Kettering; 3 sons, Greg Winn of Clover, SC, Mike (Jean Ann) Winn of Minerva, Bill (Denise) Winn of Salem; 2 sisters, Julia Fye of Dothan, AL, Annalee Rogers of TX; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and dear friends, Jim Hearn, Kennie Booth and Margie Whiteleather.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Friday at 6:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Neil Pierce officiating.
