Francis L. Crowl
Age 80, of Minerva, died after a courageous battle against cancer on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 in the comfort of his home. He was born May 23, 1937 in Minerva to Harold and Eva (Dutton) Crowl. He was a self-employed C.P.A. for 40 years and former owner of Framco Service Gas Station in Minerva. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1955 and received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Akron. He is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church, a former member of the Minerva Jaycees, the Minerva Lions Club and an 8-year member of the US Naval Reserves.
He is survived by his wife, Margery (Bixler) Crowl whom he married Sept. 20, 1958, his daughter, Lisa (Paul) Chuckalovchak of East Canton, 2 sons, Dr. Todd (Rita) Crowl of Coral Gables, FL, Steven (Tammy) Crowl of Minerva, grandchildren; Dr. Andrew (Susan) Crowl of Durham, NC, Benjamin Crowl of Skagway, Alaska, Michael (Angie and Maddox) Crowl of Minerva, Alyssa Chuckalovchak of East Canton and great grandson, Theo Crowl of Durham NC. Preceded in death by three brothers; Henry Clark Crowl, Dr. Robert H. Crowl, David L. Crowl, two sisters; Helen E. Czerpak and Theresa J. Brim and survived by Clyde W. Crowl.
