Obituary
Evelyn C. Smith, age 87, of Minerva, died Thursday, June 12, 2014 in her home. She was born July 11, 1926 in Wick, WV to Oliver Ellsworth and Victoria Long. She was a housewife and member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. She graduated from Minerva High School.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Smith who died in 2005; 2 sons, H. James Smith and Dale Smith; 6 brothers and sisters and a great granddaughter.
She is survived by 3 sons, Dennis Smith of Minerva, Walter "Glen" Smith of Minerva and Robert (Brenda) Smith of Malvern; daughter, Lois Christine (Jerry) Simon of Canton; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
