Evelyn M. Miller

Age 75, of East Rochester, died Monday, July 11, 2022 in Aultman Hospital. She was born Oct. 16, 1946 in Canton to William and Mary Jane (Fowler) Irwin. She was a housewife and loved gardening and working in the yard with her flowers.  She loved spending time with all her grandchildren and had a lot of fun times with her grandsons, Nicholas and Connor Gates. She volunteered with Minerva Community Meals for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Miller, daughter, Angel "Carolyn" (Larry Adamik) Wise of Cambridge, 2 sons, J.J. (Sheila) Gates of Atlanta, Ga, Scott (Crystal) Gates of Carrollton, sister, Mary Jane Price of Scio, 2 brothers, Buster (Cathy) Irwin of Scio, Billy (Karen) Irwin of TX, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Becky Irwin, Sally Winn and a great granddaughter.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Saturday at 7:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Tim Gropp officiating. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Minerva Community Meals.
