Evelyn E. Kinsey
Age 87, of Augusta, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 in the Carroll Golden Age Retreat. She was born April 30, 1929 in Augusta to Thomas and Emma (Hiner) Kinsey. She was owner and operator of the Paradise Inn in Cleveland for 60 years, had also owned the Oasis in Malvern and had worked at the American Switch in Minerva. She is a member of the Augusta Presbyterian Church and a 70 year member of Carroll Chapter #315 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a dog lover and an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.
She will be dearly missed by her 31 nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters, Mary Turnipseed, Christine Ossler, Emma Rhodes, Dorothy Locke, Pauline Brown, George, Lafe, Bill and Thomas Kinsey.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am in the Augusta Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ryan Hale officiating. Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
