Eva Mae Carter, Age 96, of Minerva, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016 in St. Lukes Community in Minerva. She was born Oct. 30, 1919 in Brown Twp. to Thomas and Eva Mae (Hoopes) Pearson. She was a housewife, co-owner of Bendetta Trucking and was an Avon Representative for 22 years. She is a member of the Minerva United Methodist Church, the AARP and a longtime member of the Republican National Party.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Mike Bendetta who died in 1983 and Bob Carter who died in 2000, stepson, Jerry Carter, sister, Avanell Dickenson, stepsister, Pauline Newman, 3 brothers, Wilbur, Elwood and Atlee Pearson. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews and a stepdaughter-in-law, Jane Carter of Madawski, Maine and her children, Eric and Chad Carter of Maine.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 12 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
