Erma L. Simpson

Age 87, of Minerva, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, in the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton. She was born on January 5, 1939, in Canton to Robert and Bena (Hild) Richeson. She was a homemaker and had worked for the Alliance Hospital. She is a member of the Malvern First Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star in Florida. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1958.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Charles) Sigler of New Smyrna Beach, FL; 3 sons, Dale (Monique) Gallaher of SC, Scot (Lorraine) Gallaher of Wintersville, David Gallaher of Fort Myers, FL; sister, Beverly (Ray) Everett of East Sparta; 2 brothers, Don (Sherry) Richeson of Hartville, Bill (Diane) Richeson of Minerva, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and Albert Richeson.
