Enamay Carman

Age 92, of Canton, died Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Aultman Hospital. She was born May 30, 1930 in Hanoverton to Lewis and Olive (Russell) Carman. She was an LPN for Mercy Hospital for 14 years, and worked for Dr. Barr in Minerva, The Carroll County Visiting Nurse Assoc., Dr. Moffett in Carrollton and was a private duty nurse. She is a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Canton. She graduated from Augusta High School in 1948 and the Aultman School of Nursing. She was a country girl at heart and loved her animals.

She is survived by a daughter, Keren Hillard of Canton, 2 sons, Tom (Brenda) Beckley of Michigan City, IN, Robert Beckley of Alliance, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a brother, Homer Carman.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Henry Payden of the Malvern Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services on Friday from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home.
