Eloise P. Locke
Age 92, of Minerva, died Sat., June 6, 2015 in Aultman Hospital. She was born April 5, 1923 in Alliance to Ira and Clara (Bennington) Channel. She graduated from Alliance High School in 1941 and was a Rosie the Riveter for Taylorcraft during WWII. She is a member of the Trinity Gospel Temple where she served as an Usherette and a former member of the Minerva Garden Club.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Spinner" Locke who died in 2008, 5 brothers; George, Virgil, Paul, Ira and Rolland Channel and 2 sisters; Norma Saunier and Esther Headley. She is survived by 2 sons; Robert (Cheryl) Locke of Uniontown and Danny (Sue) Locke of Carrollton, 1 sister; Mary Channel of Alabama, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters.
A special "Thank You" to the Compassionate Caretakers at Carroll Health Center for their assistance to Eloise during her time with them.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Dr. Sharon Carnes officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday 6-8pm in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Gospel Temple Kids Ministry.
