Eileen M. Wood
Age 74 of Malvern died Thursday May 19, 2011 in Aultman Hospital. She was born Nov. 29, 1936 in Canton to Corwin and Pearl (Manfull) Grimes. She worked as a Secretary for several places including the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation for the State of Ohio. She is a member of the Minerva First Presbyterian Church where she was the former secretary and a 1954 greaduate of Minerva High School.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Paul D. Wood whom she married Aug. 22, 1954, daughter, Darlene (Bruce) Creager of Stow, 2 sons; Rodney "Butch" (Beth) Wood of Carrollton and Mike (Jane) Wood of Hampstead, NC, 2 sisters; Betty (Bob) Velthius of Germantown, MD and Gladys (Kenneth) Sluss of Pickerington, 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Monday at 3 pm in the Minerva First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Barbara Bartholomew officiating. Calling hours will be held from 2-3 pm prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
