Eileen L. Mong
Age 88 of Minerva died peacefully at the home of her sister on Fri. March 25, 2011. She was born Oct. 29, 1922 in Canton to Dwight and Hazel (Gotshell) McMacken. She was a housewife and member of the Paris Israel's Lutheran Church and WELCA. A former member of the Paris Junior Civic League.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Mong who died in 2006, and two brothers; Dwight Jr. and Gerald McMacken and a sister Alice Brown. She is survived by two sisters; Linda (Merle) Tomlinson with whom she resided and Harriet (Lucian) Greenwald of Kokomo, IN, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Paris Israel's Lutheran Church with Pastor Sue Rodgers officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Aultman Hospice.
