Edward "Joseph" O'Connor

Age 84, of Minerva, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Aultman Hospital. He was born March 31, 1934 in Chicago, IL to Patrick and Mary (Collins) O'Connor. He was a Postal Worker for the US Postal Service in Chicago. He was a US Army veteran. He was a member of the American Legion and attended the St. Gabriel Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen (O'Connor) O'Connor who died in 2013; a daughter, Carmel Mortensen; a sister, Eileen Collins; 4 brothers, Jack, Pat "Bud," Tom and Gene O'Connor; 2 grandchildren. He is survived by 6 daughters, Maureen Fink of Minerva, Christine Byrne of London, England, Catherine O'Connor of Ireland, Elizabeth (Don) Wilson of Monument, CO, Erin O'Connor of Seattle, WA; 2 sons, Patrick (Anna Maria) O'Connor of Westcliffe, CO, Sean (Beth) O'Connor of Oklahoma. brother, James O'Connor of San Luis Obispo, CA; 29 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Wednesday April 25 ^th at 8:00 a.m. in the St. Francis Catholic Church in Malvern with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
