Edward D. Glosser
age 70, of Alliance, died Friday March 15, 2013 in Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. He was born Dec. 11, 1942 in Warsaw, NY to the late Harold and Margaret (Cook) Glosser. A graduate of Warsaw Central High School, he is a self-employed electrician and retired from American Steel Foundries in Alliance where he had worked for 29 years. He is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva and the Minerva Knights of Columbus #11380.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kay (Toussant) Glosser whom he married Feb. 17, 1973; 3 daughters, Heather Glosser of Minerva, Holly (Ulysses) Harvey of Dayton and Heidi (Amanda) Glosser of Dayton; son, Ryan (Melanie) Glosser of Leetonia; 2 brothers, Albert (Rosario) Glosser of Amherst, NY and Jay Glosser of VA; sister-in-law, Avis Glosser of Warsaw, NY; 8 grandchildren, Jade Stack, Cameron Hitchcock, Cailyn Glosser, Josie Glosser, Kylie Glosser, Josiah Harvey, Xavier Harvey and Brooklyn Glosser. He is preceded in death by a brother, Kyle Glosser and his mother and father-in-law, William and Joann Toussant.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Calling hours will be held 2 hours prior to services at the church from 9-11 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minerva Knights of Columbus.
