Douglas W. Arkenburgh

Age 51, of Minerva, died Monday, April 12, 2021 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born June 10, 1969 in Canton to the late Albert and Rhoda (Soliday) Arkenburgh. He is a certified mechanic for New Image Motors. He is a member of New Vine Baptist Church in Malvern.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Christin Arkenburgh of New Philadelphia, Savanna Arkenburgh of New Philadelphia; 2 sons, Jesse Arkenburgh of Alliance, Devin Arkenburgh of Minerva; sister, Glenda Hudson of Minerva; 2 brothers, William (Rhonda) Arkenburgh of Malvern, Terry (Kelly) Arkenburgh of Malvern; grandson, Jeremiah Arkenburgh; 3 nieces, Angel Robertson, Kelly Goodwin, Selena Arkenburgh; 5 nephews, Jason Ackerman, Ray, Mike, William, Justin and Brandon Arkenburgh; and many cousins and children outside the home that he loved and care for. He is preceded in death by a brother, Gordon "Mike" Arkenburgh and a niece, Tiffany Bandy.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 7:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Steve Gilreath officiating. Following cremation, burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.  Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 5-7 pm.
