Dorothy J. Trussel

Age 76, of Minerva, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born March 19, 1941 in Leavittsville to Donald and Mildred (Mahorn) Miller. She retired from US Ceramic Tile in East Sparta where she had worked for over 30 years.

She is survived by 5 children; Wilma Tabellion of Sebring, John (Ronee) Trussel of Columbus, Tom (Lori) Trussel of Minerva, Betty Griffith of Minerva and Joellen Scarberry of Minerva, 2 sisters, Margie (Richard) Derby of Canton, Doris Neff of Minerva, brother, Albert "Pete" Mathis of Minerva, 11 grandchildren; Sarah Rose, Austin, Hayden and Joseph Trussel, Ashley and Sarah Walton, Angela and Amanda Scarberry, Kendra, Kiel and Kurtis Griffith, 3 great grandchildren; Hailey Gardner, Dylan Elton and Karmen Griffith. She is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Donald, Robert and Jack Miller.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 11am to 1pm. Memorial donations may be made to Mercy Hospice.
