Dorothy M. Pugh
Age 86 of Minerva died Fri. July 1, 2011 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1925 in Uniontown, PA to John and Lorena (Anderson) Claypool. She was a homemaker and member of the Minerva Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Wild Card Rummy, making quilts, doing puzzle books and going out on service with her Jehovah's Witness friends
She is preceded in death by her husband, Owen Pugh who died in 1989, daughter; Hazel Tanner, two sisters; Beulah Pugh and Glenna Fisher and five grandchildren. She is survived by six daughters; Shirley Daniel of Alliance, Loretta (Larry) Fairchild of Minerva, Helen (Arkey) Mayle of Malvern, Betty Troyer of Malvern, Sharon (Dannie) Duley of Warren and Darlene Roberts of North Benton, two sons; Harlen (Cathy) Pugh of Mechanicstown and Robert (Melissa) Pugh of Minerva, 30 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Joe Wollam officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
