Dorothy Smith-McDaniel,age 88, of Bradenton, FL, died Monday, October 29, 2012 in the Bradenton Hospice House. She was born April 5, 1924 in Steetsboro, OH to Elmer and Hilda (Stallard) Stewart.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Dale Smith who died in 1954, husband Emery "Red" McDaniel who died in 1990 and a brother, Donald Stewart.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Sandy (Gary) Lewis of Fort Lawn, SC, Susie (Victor) Spatola of Jacksonville, FL; 3 sons, Dale McDaniel of Minerva, Dennis (Vicky) McDaniel of Indianapolis, IN, Danny (Trudy) McDaniel of Bradenton, FL; a brother, Wilfred Stewart of Melbourne, FL; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Sat., November 10th in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Kirt Henman officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery in Waynesburg.
