Dorothy E. Long, Age 93, of Carrollton, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in her home. She was born January 25, 1922 in Minerva to Edward and Sylvia (Walker) Long. She was a lifelong resident of the Augusta area and worked on the family farm. She also had worked at H&H Henry General Store, the Pattersonville Telephone Company and the Carroll County Election Board. She graduated from Augusta High School in 1940.

She is survived by her dear friends, Bruce and Debra Buck of Kensington.

According to Dorothy's wishes, there will be a graveside service in the Chapel at East Lawn Cemetery on Friday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Lee Iden officiating. There are no calling hours.
