Dorothy Jenkins
Age 93,formerly of Minerva, died Sunday, July 28, 2012 in Hanover House in Massillon. She was born Dec. 7, 1918 in Camden Co., NJ to Ernest and Mary (Summers) Sanor. She worked for the Minerva Public Library for 18 years, was a graduate of Goshen High School, a Cub Scout Leader and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Minerva and Zion Lutheran Church in North Canton.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gomer Jenkins who died in 1998 and a brother, Jacob Sanor.
She is survived by a daughter, Marrell Jenkins of Waynesburg and 2 sons, James (Vicky) Jenkins of Canton and Joseph (Debbie) Jenkins of East Canton; a brother, Dan (Anne) Sanor of Salem; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Following cremation, a celebration of her life will be Sat. Aug. 4th from 11 am to 1pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held at 12 noon. Burial will be in Fairmount Memorial Park.
