Doris A. Troescher, age 76, of Robertsville, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2014 in the Great Trail Care Center. She was born May 10, 1938 in Hempstead, NY to Albert and Johanna (Schulz) Gordon. She was a homemaker and member of the Wildwood Chapel. She loved her birds and could often be found tending her flowers.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Troescher who died in 2010 and a daughter, Robin Wade. She is survived by a son, John Gordon of FL; 4 stepdaughters, Sharon (Belyle) Bennett of Canton, Donna (Lysle) Bishop of Lisbon, Loretta Troescher of Canton and Jenny Troescher of Canton; 2 stepsons, Chuck (Darlene) Troescher of Canton and Terry Troescher of Canton; sister, Lois of NY; brother, Bob of MA; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, at 11:00, am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Timothy Prince officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
