Donna L. Holliday

Age 94, of Minerva, passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024 in the Arbors of Minerva. She was born March 21, 1929 in Canton.  She retired from Niuman's Meats in Minerva where she had worked for 16 years.  She had also worked for Fry Brothers Grocery for 35 years and Good Roads Machinery.  She attended the Minerva First Presbyterian Church.  She graduated from Minerva High School in 1947.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, George Holliday whom she married Nov. 16, 1958, son, Thomas (Nancy) Holliday of Canton, 5 grandchildren; Rebecca Holliday of Canton, Caitlyn (Matthew) Williams of Massillon, Daniel Holliday of Canton, Brittany Holliday (Brian Wyer) of Minerva and Chelsea Holliday of Minerva.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Pauline (Fry) Grant, a son, David Holliday and a sister, Kay Paulun.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 12:00 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.  Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.  Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services on Saturday from 10am to 12 noon.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
