Donna Hafer
Age 72, of Minerva, died Friday, July 10, 2015 in the Alliance Community Hospital. She was born Dec. 11, 1942 in Stromsburg, NE to Carroll and Virginia (Moore) Flodman. She retired from Consumers National Bank in Minerva where she worked for 32 years as a loan officer and compliance officer and had formerly worked in the Capital Building in Lincoln, NE. She is a member of the New Alexander Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Edward Hafer whom she married June 22, 1963, daughter, Denise Tomlinson of Minerva, 2 sisters, LaRita Sorenson of MN, Patty (Sam) Grogan of Stromsburg, NE, 2 brothers, Merton (Lona) Flodman of Osceola, NE, Robin (Lori) Flodman of Kansas City, MO, 5 grandchildren, Colton and girlfriend Mayleana Bowersock, Heather, Mikayla, Jade and Owen and her special friend, Carol White. She is preceded in death by a brother, Deland Flodman. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses at Alliance Hospital and her physicians, Dr. Hudzik and Dr. Sadek for their care and compassion.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the New Alexander Christian Church with Mr. Bob Laughlin officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-7 pm at the New Alexander Christian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alliance Community Hospital Medical Foundation.
