Donald E. Williams

Age 87, of Minerva, died Sunday, July 1, 2018 in the Windsor Medical Center. He was born March 7, 1931 in Malvern to Ivor and Grace (Campbell) Williams. He retired from Ironrock Capital, Inc. where he was the Customer Service Manager. He was an US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Don was an avid golfer and enjoyed card nights with the family.

He is survived by his daughter, Diane Simms of Minerva, son, Kevin (Lisa) Williams of North Canton, daughter-in-law, Sandy Williams of Minerva, sister, Sandra Sarbach of Malvern, brother, Roland (Alice) Williams of Farmington Hills, MI, sister-in-law, Pam Kenny of Alliance, 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley L. (Ossler) Williams, son, Dennis Williams, son-in-law, Robert Simms, 2 sisters, bonnie Blackledge and Dorothy Smith, 3 brothers-in-law, Richard Smith, Richard Sarbach and Steve Kenny.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held Thursday at 10:30 am in Bethlehem Cemetery with Mr. Ben Page officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bob Simms Memorial Scholarship fund at 2401 Fox Ave. SE, Minerva, OH  44657.
