Donald D. Raines

Age 63, of Dellroy, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024 following a sudden illness. He was born June 5, 1961 in Copley to Donna (Maxwell) Raines of Copley and the late John Raines.  He worked for Liquid Control Corp. now known as Graco Inc. in North Canton as an assembly tech since 1990 building meter mixing and dispensing equipment. He spent his free time kayaking, sailing, fishing with family and paddle boarding. He graduated from Copley High School in 1980.

He is survived by his wife, Ann (Roberts) Raines whom he married Dec. 4, 1993, son, Nicholas (Tracy) Raines and his beloved granddaughter, Kensley of New Philadelphia, his mother Donna Raines of Copley, sister, Rhonda Raines of Merit Island, FL, 3 brothers, David, Michael and John Raines all of Copley.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 7th at 4:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.  Calling hours will be held two hours prior to services from 2-4 pm at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Haven of Rest Ministries in Akron.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
