Donald E. Leasure

Age 73, of Minerva, died Wed. Nov. 14, 2018 at Alliance Community Care Center following a long illness. Don was born Dec. 22, 1944 in Canton to Clarence and Sarah (Wayts) Leasure of Malvern. He was the operations manager at Fresh Mark for many years and also owned D&D Raceway in Malvern. Don was a National Guard Veteran and proud member of the Malvern American Legion Post #375. He graduated from Malvern High School in 1962 where he was co-captain of the undefeated TVC Champion and Ohio State Champion Football Team. Don was also a member of the 1957 Malvern Mighty Mites State Champion Baseball Team.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Carrie (Ted) Stanley of Charleston, SC, Amanda Jones of Wilson, NC, Katie Leasure of Hilton Head, SC, 2 sistes, Nancy (Jerry) Marteney of Louisville, Sherry (Duane) Marriner of Minerva, 4 grandchildren; Lauren, Adison, Meagan and Emryck. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Sarah, and 2 sisters, Martha Logan and Joanne Burress.

According to his wishes, services include cremation with no formal services.
