Donald D. Kulla

Age 90, of Malvern, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in Akron General Hospital. He was born April, 28, 1927 in Massillon to Landis and Ethel (Keifer) Kulla. He retired as a welder and maintenance from Macomber Structural Steel in Louisville. He served in the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Canton R.C. Club, former member of the Eagles in Massillon. He loved fast things and raced stock-cars and motorcycles and loved radio controlled airplanes.

He is preceded in death by two wives, Ruby (Swango) Kulla and Betty Jane (Adams) Kulla; a son in law, Loren Halsey and a grandson. He is survived by his wife, Charlyn (Mick) (Galay) Kulla who he married August 20, 2002; 2 daughters, Judy (Elvin) Hartung of Orange Park, FL, Vicky Halsey of Perry; 2 stepdaughters, Lorraine (Richard) Baldwin of Dover, Barbara (Brad) Burwell of Boliver; 2 Stepsons, David (Janie) Galay of Minerva, Jeff (Amy) Galay of Greenville, TX; 3 sisters, Deloris Rudersmith of Canal Fulton, Patricia Sibila of Massillon, Bonnie Davis of LA; a brother, Tim (Cindy) Kulla; 5 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
