Dixie C. Zwahlen
Age 73, of Minerva, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in Aultman Compassionate Care. She was born Nov. 16, 1941 in Majestic, KY to Tivis and Eura Mae (Thacker) Wilson. She retired from TRW and PCC in Minerva where she had worked for 37 years. She loved to bowl, golf, play horseshoes and most sports. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren and loved traveling with her husband Ed. She is a member of the Massillon American Legion Aux. Post #221.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Zwahlen whom she married Feb. 2, 1996, daughter, Debra Rininger (Pete) of Carrollton, 2 sons; Darrell Rininger of Carrollton and James (Beth) Rininger of Carrollton, daughter-in-law, Alycia (Jared) Breiter of Minneapolis, MN, 7 grandchildren; Toni, Taylor, Kaitlin, Jessica, Cayden, Brandee and Alden, 3 great grandchildren; Logan, Zakary and Adam. She is preceded in death by son, Matthew Williams, daughter-in-law, Pam Rininger, stepfather, Tip Tipton and a great granddaughter, Neely.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mr. Kenny Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton. Calling hours will be Friday from 9-11 am prior to services.
