Derek A. Patterson
Age 38, of Minerva died Jan. 18, 2014. He was born May 20, 1975 in Canton to Mark and Jo Ann (Arden) Patterson of Canton. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1993 and received his Bachelor's Degree in Education as an Intervention Specialist at Mount Union University. He attended Grace Chapel in Minerva.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tracy (Ossler) Patterson whom he married June 18, 1994, daughter, McKenna of the home, sister, Miranda Patterson of Canton, brother, Mark (Mindy) Patterson Jr. of Carrollton, mother and father-in-law, Robert and Audrey Ossler of Minerva, grandmother, Arry Ossler of Carrollton, brothers-and sisters-in-law, Robert (Lacey) Ossler of Minerva and Karen (Eric) Lembke of Minerva, 5 nephews and 7 nieces.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Kirt Henman officiating. Calling hours will be Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
