Dennis L. Smith, age 68, of Homeworth, died Sunday March 22, 2015 in Aultman Hospital. He was born Dec. 5, 1946 in Massillon, Ohio to Mildred (Compon) Smith and the late John Smith. He retired from Smith and Nephew as a maintenance supervisor where he had worked for 26 years, had worked in maintenance at the Great Trail Care Center in Minerva, graduated from Massillon High School and was a US Army Veteran having served in Vietnam.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Claudia whom he married June 23, 1983; a daughter, Kimberly (John) Whitmer of Massillon; a step daughter, Lisa (Titus) Miller of Minerva; a step-son, David (Dawn) Stryffeler of Franklin, PA; a brother, Mark Smith of Massillon; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
