In Loving Memory of Debra Lynn Chilson

(August 17, 1954 – January 1, 2025)

Debra Lynn Chilson, a kind and genuine soul, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025. Born on August 17, 1954, to Clyde and Betty Brown. She grew up in Canton, Ohio, where she developed her lifelong gift of never meeting a stranger. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met.

Debra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She married, Thomas Chilson, the love of her life on July 3, 1981, and together they shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. A dedicated stay-at-home mom, Debra found joy in raising her family and filling their home with love and laughter. She later founded D&B Cleaning Service with her mother, where her hard work and compassion continued to shine.

In addition to her husband, Tom, she is survived by her loving family: her children, Chris (Don), Dan, and Gary; her cherished grandchildren, Nick, Thomas, Shelby, Ryan, Mia, and Kayla; and her great-grandchildren, Beckett, Demyx, Christian, Zayden, and Leo. She will also be deeply missed by dear friends and family members, including her brother, Mitch, Terri (Aaron), Angela, Claire, Mary Jo, and Starr.

Debra found joy in crafting, exploring her family's roots through genealogy, reading books, and spending time with those she loved most. She was known for her kindness, her welcoming spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel like family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Betty Brown, and her brother, Scott Brown of Malvern.

In keeping with Debra's wishes, no service will be held. In her memory, the family asks that donations be made to hospice organizations, whose care and compassion meant so much during her final days.

Debra will forever be remembered for her warm heart, her love of family, and the kindness she shared.
