Debra (Skaggs) Buck

Age 64, of Minerva, went to be with her Lord following an extended illness on Saturday, October 13, 2018 in Aultman Hospital. She was born September 20, 1954 in Marysville, to Sherrill Skaggs of Minerva and the late Georgia (Greene) Skaggs. She graduated from Logan High school in 1972. She was a Home Health Aid and a member of the Alliance First Christian Church where she sang in the choir. She was a former resident of Springfield, OH and also lived in Germany for 7 years.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Danny Newcomer and Ronald Buck; daughter, Machaela Newcomer who died in 2005 and her mother. In addition to her father, she is survived by a sister, Meleia (Charles) Rogers of Paris; 3 nephews, Ryan (Jayme) Cunningham of Minerva, Joshua (Karen) Cunningham of Moreland Hills and Anthony Rogers of San Francisco; 4 great nieces and great nephews, Arianna, Gavin, Rowan and Elliott Cunningham.

Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mr. Aaron Phillips officiating. Calling hours will be held 1 hour prior to the services from 9-10 am. A graveside service will be in the Ferncliff Cemetery in Springfield, Ohio at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc.
