Deborah L. Pesko

Age 72, of Minerva, peacefully entered heaven, Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 in Aultman Hospital surrounded by her family and church family. She was born Aug. 6, 1949 in Canton to the late John and Dorla (Shuman) Karcher. She retired from the Timken Company where she was a data processor for over 30 years.  She is a member of Minerva Grace Chapel.  She graduated from Glenwood High School in 1967 and attended Kent State.  She loved photography and horses and trail-riding.  She enjoyed watching her daughter and granddaughter compete in the local Rodeo's and never missed a competition. She was a longtime member of the Tri-Co trail-riding Association.  She also enjoyed crafting with her daughter and going to craft shows.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Pesko who died Sept. 11, 1999.  She is survived by a daughter, Desiree Pesko (Brent Knight) of Minerva, brother, E. John "Moosey" Karcher of Louisville, sister, Krystal (Edwin) Ranowsky of Magnolia, granddaughter, Kyrah Knight of Minerva, 2 step grandchildren, Grant and Grace Knight, aunt, Mildred Swigart of Canton, 3 nephews, Sean Karcher, Austin Karcher, and a niece, Autumn (Casey) Rector.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Kirt Henman officiating. Burial will be in the Henry Warstler Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Sunday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
