Debbie (King) Clapper

age 69, of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, in Aultman Hospital.  She was born August 18, 1956, in Canton to Nancy (Humbertson) King of Canton and the late William King Sr. She was a housewife and member of the Robertsville Wesleyan Methodist Church.  She graduated from Timken High School in 1974. She was a member of the Malvern Community Club and helped run the Malvern Homecoming for many years.  She loved spending time doing crafts and making Christmas Wreaths.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Brian Clapper whom she married June 9, 1979, and 2 brothers, Roy (Loree) King of Canton, Leonard (Casandra) King of Akron. She is preceded in death by her father and a brother, William King Jr.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Gabe Norris officiating.  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton.  Calling hours will be held one hour prior to services from 11am to 12 noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
