David Wayne Myers, age 49, formerly of Canton and Carrollton, passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center following a long illness. He was born July 22, 1963 in Canton. He was a truck driver of Zimmerman Steel in Dalton. David was an avid hunter, fisherman and an inspiration to everyone.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret (Hall) Hinebaugh of Mechanicstown; 2 sons, Nathan Myers of Carrollton and Trevor Myers of Paris; brother, Dewayne (Sue) Foster of Waynesburg; 2 sisters, Debbie (Ron) Bailey of Malvern and Brenda (Brian) Elder of Malvern; special aunt, Nancy Parsons; uncle, Rick (Dee) Kitts; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins; and special friends, Cindy, Jeff and Bill.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hinebaugh and grandmother, Geraldine Kitts.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Rev. Web Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
