David H. Johnson

Age 68, of Canton, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026 in the Minerva Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was born October 27, 1957 in Canton to Charles and Dorothy (Sayre) Johnson Sr. He was a truck driver for Boron Trucking for many years and a mechanic in his spare time. He loved working on cars while drinking a cold beer in the garage, even after a long day of truck driving. He had a love for old cars.

He is survived by a daughter, Charlene “Nikki” (Joe) Sanders of Cookeville, TN, a sister, Joyce Boron of Minerva and 6 grandchildren and a great granddaughter. He is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Janet Gordon, June Williams and 4 brothers, Charles “Tom” Johnson Jr., Dale Richard Johnson, Raymond Johnson and Leonard Johnson.
