David A. Crawford

Age 70, of Minerva, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026 in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. He was born March 18, 1956 in Canton. He had been a Carroll County Sheriff Deputy and a steel truck driver for Green Lines Trucking and Belknap Trucking. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1974.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cheryl (Moreland) Crawford whom he married Dec. 31, 1987, 3 daughters; Sara (Mike) White of Minerva, Kristina Rhiel of Minerva, Nichole Crawford and fiancé, (Patrick Laubert of Minerva and four grandchildren; Dylan, Savana, Meleena and Pyper Rhiel. He is preceded in death by his mother, Velma Crawford and 2 grandchildren, Addisyn Benzel and Ethan White.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 6:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Armand Leday officiating. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm prior to services. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
