David A. Carson

Age 74, of Minerva, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024 in the Arbors of Minerva. He was born Aug. 20, 1949 in Alliance to Eleanor (Myers) Carson of Minerva and the late Paul Carson. He retired from Sugardale Meats.  He graduated from Minerva High School and is a US Army Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois (Pitts) Carson who died in 2016, his father and a brother, Rodney Carson. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Christina Carson of Minerva, son, Michael (Missy) Carson of Alliance, 2 sisters, Linda (Ken) Pitts of Columbus, Darlene Lutz of Minerva, brothers, Daniel (Laura Hinton) Carson of Minerva and a grandson, Joshua Carson.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.  Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from noon to 1 pm at the funeral home.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
