Darlene K. Billiter

Age 73, of Minerva, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021. She was born April 11, 1948 in Augusta to French and Leona (LeBeau) Marteney.  She was the co-owner of Billiter Insurance for many years.  She graduated from Minerva High School and is a member of the Minerva Grace Chapel.  She is a member of the Minerva Rotary where she was a former President and Paul Harris Fellow and had been active in the Minerva Chamber of Commerce.

She is survived by a son, Birch Billiter of Hartville, 2 stepchildren, Sue Martin of Medina, John Billiter II of Minerva, 4 sisters, Eva Wolf of Minerva, Mary (Jaye) Runes of Denver, CO, Evelyn Hopkins of Minerva, Pamela (Larry) Marteney of Minerva, brother, Elmer "Jack" (Debbie) Marteney, 5 grandchildren, Jeremiah, Finnegan, Liam, Cian and Shannon and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Frances Marteney, Donna Clark, June Bettis and a brother, Oscar Marteney.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Friday Oct. 22 ^nd in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.  Calling hours will be held 2 hours prior to services from 4 to 6 pm at the funeral home.
