Darleen A. Bumgardner, age 88, of Minerva, died Sat., Jan. 25, 2014 in her home. She was born Oct. 12, 1925 in Caldwell, OH to Virgil and Ann (Stephens) West. She was a housewife. She graduated from Caldwell High School and is a member of the Malvern First Christian Church. She was interested in doing crafts and organized the lunch bunch for 20 years. Shirley Brigham, her dear friend, took over when she was unable to continue.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Bumgardner and Thomas Edwards; son, Randy Edwards; son-in-law, Jeff Cline; and 2 brothers, Bernard and Donald West. She is survived by a daughter, Judy (Boord) Cline of Minerva; 2 sons, Robert (Sue) Edwards of Hollyhill, FL and Rick (Kristine) Edwards of Minerva; stepdaughter, Dana (Robert) Johnston of St. Clairsville and stepson Bobby (Diane) Bumgardner of Belmont; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
