Daniel R. Wheeler, age 27, of Minerva, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2017. He was born Aug. 15, 1989 in Canton, OH to Vicki Bates of Minerva and the late Nathaniel B. Wheeler. He was a welder for Midland Engineering in Canton.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Kerri Wheeler; and a brother, Nathaniel L. Wheeler; grandparents, Charles and Donna Wheeler of Massillon; niece, Elaina Dearth of Canton; nephew, Carter Wheeler of Massillon.
