Dale Edward Glavan

Age 66, of Canton passed away October 14, 2024, in Aultman Hospital. He was born in Alliance to William and Marilyn (Walker) Glavan. He graduated from Minerva Highschool in 1976 and continued to then graduate from Stark Tech. with an associate's degree in accounting. Dale worked at Summitville tile for 47 years. He was known for his love of sports, always watching the game, or talking to someone about politics.

He is survived by 3 sisters, Sandy McCracken of Wadsworth, Janet (Nate) Neubauer of Louisville, and Jean (Randy) Peterson of Hawaii, and 3 brothers, Don ( Bonnie ) Glavan of Alliance, Ken Glavan of Columbiana, and Jamie (Brandy) Glavan of Minerva;10 nieces, Erika, Jill, Angel, Niki, Megan, Jennifer, Kellie, Amy, Michelle; 2 nephews, Clinton, and Chris; numerous great nieces and great nephews; and roommates, Jon Schuster and Jim Martin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Carol McCarty.

There will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations can be made in Dale's name to Friends of Stark Pound at P.O. Box 36117, Canton, OH  44735. Those wishing to share their condolences may sign the online register book at Gotschallfuneralhome.com.
