Dale E. Benner, age 94, of East Rochester, died October 18, 2016 at Aultman Compassionate Care in Canton. He was born July 29, 1922 in Kensington, Ohio, to Elmer and Pearl (Sanor) Benner. He was a lifetime owner and operator of Benner Dairy Farms from 1950 to 2011 and was a member of the Columbiana County Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife, Avona (Doak) Benner whom he married April 26, 1959; a son, Duane (Cindi) Benner of East Rochester, a daughter, Connie Jo (Joe) Rohrer of Mechanicstown, a stepdaughter, Sabra Jo Lucas of Minerva, a sister, Donna (Roy) Waugh of Kensington, 2 grandchildren, Stacey (Steve) Smith of Hanoverton, Craig (Danielle) Benner of Canton, 2 great grandchildren, Bella Roberts and Owen Benner.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
