Curtis W. Markins

Age 55, of Minerva, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026 in Aultman Hospital. He was born August 31, 1970 in Huntington WV to Sheila (Ours) Markins of Huntington, WV and the late Danny Markins. He worked for Southwest Airlines at the Canton Akron Airport for 20 years. He graduated from Huntington East High School in and attended Marshall University. He is a member of the Malvern First Christian Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mollee (Cyders) Markins whom he married August 17, 1996, 5 daughters, Andria Markins of Toledo, Jesseca Markins of Toledo, Emmalee Markins of Minerva, Alyssa Markins of Canton, Jorgan (and fiancé, Morgan Bodmer) Markins of Malvern, 5 sons, Quin Markins of Canton, Igor Santos of Brazil, Dre Fears of Minerva, Thaddeus Markins of Minerva, Dom Markins of Minerva, sister, Jennifer McComas of Huntington, WV, brother, Greg (Teresa) Markins of Teays Valley, WV, 12 grandchildren, and mother-in-law, Jean (Rod) Stickler of Malvern. He is preceded in death by his father, a son, Garrison Markins, grandparents, Mayford and Leila (Tenney) Ours, Delmer and Betty White and a brother-in-law, Cline McComas.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Malvern First Christian Church with Mr. Kenny Thomas officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 6-8 pm at the Malvern First Christian Church and Wednesday one hour prior to services at the church.
