Craig Fielding Fry
Age 51, of Minerva, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Saturday, October 15, 2016. He was born April 1, 1965 in Alliance to Gary and Linda (Reed) Fry of Minerva. He was a Firefighter, Paramedic and Fire Inspector for 21 years, working for the City of Green Fire Department. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1983 and obtained his fire/medic certification in 1997. He is a member of the International Association of Fire Fighters local #2964 and the Minerva Sportsmans Club. He loved the outdoors and his family and had a passion for golf and bowling. He especially loved golfing at Great Trail Golf, the family golf course.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Margret (Pedersen) Fry whom he married October 5, 1990, two daughters, Rachel Fry of Telluride, CO, Sarah Fry of Minerva, son, Erik Fry of Portland, OR, paternal grandmother, Geraldine Fry of Minerva, two sisters, Sherry Fry (Maria Shinn) of Lakewood, April (Dave) Jamerson of Leander, TX, brother, Ryan (Marika) Fry of Perrysburg, many nieces and nephews, and special uncle and aunt, Tom (Bee) Lally of Minerva. He is preceded in death by his brother, Tracy Fry.
According to his wishes, he will be cremated with a private family service held at a later date. Memorial contributions in his name may be made at Consumers National Bank to benefit his children.
