Connie A. Stanik

Age 57, of Minerva, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022 in Aultman Hospital. She was born Sept. 19, 1964 in Green, OH to Margaret (Lerch) Giamati-Doepel of Tallmadge and the late Robert Giamati.  She is a Speech & Language Pathologist for Akron Children's Hospital in North Canton.  She graduated from Green High School in 1982, received an associate degree from Stark State College, and a bachelor's and a master's degrees in Speech Language Pathology from Kent State University.  She is a member of ASHA: The American Speech-Language Hearing Assoc.

She is survived by her husband, John whom she married May 30, 1992, daughter, Jessica Stanik of N. Canton, son, Aaron Stanik of N. Canton, her mother, 2 sisters, Susan (Jack) Bailey of N. Canton, Robin Balaj of N. Canton, brother, Michael (Beth) Giamati of Green, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces.

In addition to her family, her true loves in life were camping, fishing, beagles, cooking for people, and her flower beds.

Funeral services will be held Friday January 14 ^th at 6:00 pm in the North Canton Chapel at 715 Whittier Ave. in North Canton with Pastor Brannon Marshall officiating.
