Clarence "Squirrely" Walter
Age 74, of Malvern, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 in Aultman Hospital. He was born Aug. 31, 1940 in Minerva to Wilbur and Dorothy (Dourm) Walter. He retired from Republic Steel where he had been a crane operator and straddle truck driver for 42 years. He is a member of the Canton Baptist Temple, member of the toymakers in Winter Haven, FL and a former firefighter with the Robertsville Fire Dept. and the Plain Twp. Fire Dept.
He is survived by a daughter, Angie (Mike) Young of Waynesburg, son, Paul (Alice) Brown of Canton, companion, Linda Loy of Malvern, ex-wife, Georgia Walter of Canton, 2 sisters, Naomi Walter of Minerva and Edna Oyer of East Canton, 5 grandchildren; Donnie Walter, Mikey Walter, Michelle Kimball, Angela Brown and Tori Milton, 2 great grandchildren; Addi Meryo and Isaac Walter. He is preceded in death by 2 sons; Frank and Raymond Walter and a brother, Loyal Walter.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
