Clarence E. Ferguson, Age 79, of Malvern, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Oakhill Manor. He was born Aug. 28, 1936 in Salineville, Ohio to Fernley "Cy" and Nellie (Lambert) Ferguson. He was a US Marine and retired after 15 years as a truck driver from Ohio Paper Tube. He was also a member of the Trinity Gospel Temple in Canton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jane (Presutto) Ferguson, they would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on May 6th; 3 daughters, Corinne (Robert) Gibson of East Canton, Christie Hattery of Canton, Cindy Ferguson of Malvern; 2 sons, Curtis (Patricia) Ferguson of Malvern, Tony (Connie) Smith of Lisbon; 2 sisters, Donna (Butch) Manfull of Kensington, Doreen (Wayne) Smith of Lisbon; a brother, Clyde Ferguson of Kensington; 5 grandchildren, Brittany, Kayla, Angela, Marcia, Elle; and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Naomi "Louise" Stepanic, Francis "Carole" Myers, a brother, Phurriott Henry and a grandson Joshua Ferguson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:00 pm at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Brother James Fetty officiating. Burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery with full military honors. Calling house will be held 10-12:00 pm prior to the services at the funeral home.
