Clair M (Marty) Binegar

Born May 7, 1960. Passed away Friday December 21, 2018 surrounded by family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Kimberly; their children Lucas (Jamie) Binegar and Ruthie (Thomas) Busek; five granddaughters Cecelia, Sienna and Adalina Binegar, Ava and Adriana Grimm; one sister Stellie (Chad) Wollman and one brother Joshua Binegar; sisters-in-law Pam (Steve) Shriver, Brenda (Steve) Sluss, Sherry (Jeff) Whitacre and Robin Douglass; Mother-in-law, Judy Milligan and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, as well as many other close spiritual friends. Preceded in death by his parents Clair and Marcella (Vincent) Binegar and his father-in-law William (Bill) Milligan.

Marty was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Minerva, Ohio where he served as an elder. Some of his spiritual privileges included baptizing many brothers and sisters at both circuit and district conventions, participating in 3 different spiritual dramas at our district conventions as well as  serving as a theocratic school overseer.

His life revolved around his family, his spiritual family and serving Jehovah God. On at least ten different occasions Marty and Kim opened their home to family and friends in need, providing them with a place to stay until they were able to make their own way. He was always happy to help the brothers and sisters whenever they were in need. He was also a mentor to many young people helping them to grow into the fine men and women they are today.

Marty was a happy person with an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor--a tenderhearted person who loved everyone.

He worked at The Timken Co and J & L Steel. He was co-owner of Ohio Valley Basement Waterproofing before working for Synchrony Bank in Canton, Ohio.

Services are Saturday at 1:00 pm December 29th 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Minerva, Ohio. Officiated by Joseph C. (Chip) Wollam IV.
