Christopher L. Norton of Dover died Tuesday May 3, 2016 at Aultman Hospital in Canton. He was born May 13, 1964 in Elmira, New York to Christopher W. and Annick M. (Kuss) Norton of Malvern. He was retired from the United States Army where he served in the First Gulf War, was a helicopter pilot, served as a liaison officer for the US Army in Germany and is a member of Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department. He attended Somerdale Marinatha Bible Church and was a graduate of Jackson High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tammy J. (Maney) Norton: One daughter, Victoria Norton of the home: Two sons, Christopher Ryan Norton of Maryland and Todd Joseph Norton of Toledo: Two sisters, Renee (Kevin) Barley of Minerva and Michelle Norton of Charleston SC: One brother, David Paul (Marcy) Norton of Stow, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Renee Kuss.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will Tuesday 10:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church of Malvern with Father Victor Cinson as celebrant. Friends may call one hour prior to the services. Burial with full military honors will be in Western Reserve National Cemetery.
