Chloris (Moreland) Speelman
Age 77, of Minerva died Thursday March 28, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. She was born Feb. 7, 1936 in Alliance to Arthur and Laura (Smith) Mowen. She was a housewife and was a member of the Great Trail Church of God and the Wildwood Chapel.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Speelman; 5 daughters, Cheryl (Dave) Crawford of Minerva, Diana Kmatz of Minerva, JoAnne (Arthur) McMahan of Rootstown, Karen Hood of Garrettsville and Deborah (Chuck) Conway of Stowe; 2 sons, Chester (Marianne) Moreland Jr. of Alliance and James (Patty) Moreland of Worthington; 2 sisters, Ruth Ann Moreland of Alliance and Ethel Ritchea of Brewster; a brother, Harry (Kay) Mowen of Alliance, 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Moreland , a sister, Katherine Dufrane and a brother, William Mowen.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 pm in the Great Trail Community Church of God in Minerva with Pastor Tim Prince officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 11am to 1pm at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wildwood Chapel.
